SWAT Team Drill Cancelled

The Seattle Police Department SWAT team drill scheduled for tomorrow Friday, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Laurelon Terrace site has been canceled.

Construction Fence Shows Northwest Plants and Animals

As site preparation begins this fall, a construction  fence will be placed around the perimeter of the new campus area.  This fence will run along Sand Point Way, up 40th and 45th Streets and will have gates at access locations.  This fence will be up for the duration of construction. Emergency Preparedness Drill Saturday, Sept. 25 and Oct. 9

Part of our commitment to emergency preparedness includes routine training exercises by our Children’s Emergency Response Team (CERT), a group of volunteer staff members who have emergency training experience, and can be deployed when an event occurs. They meet and practice disaster response trainings regularly so that appropriate response is second nature to them.

 On Saturday, Sept.25 and Oct. 9 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., members of CERT will conduct a drill on the Laurelon Terrace site. Read full post »

Building on the South Side of the Laurelon Terrace Property

After several months of study and thoughtful consideration, we made the decision to begin our first phase of the campus expansion on the south side of the Laurelon Terrace property.  Initial concepts called for the expansion to start on the north side of that property. Some people have asked us why we made this adjustment.

This decision was made in the planning and design process and was guided by our commitment to provide family-centered care with outstanding results.
