What today looks like big equipment and trucks full of construction materials is in fact the very first steps toward the future of world class cancer and critical care at Seattle Children’s.  Looking at the hospital construction site now, it might be hard to picture what the finished product of the initial phase of Building Hope: Cancer and Critical Care Expansion will look like. To give you a visual, below are some new renderings of the exterior and first floor entrance; a patient room; family lounge; quiet room; and gym space.

These renderings represent the most current designs, but please keep in mind they are not final. Using Continuous Performance Improvement (CPI) principles, Children’s will continue to work with designers, architects and builders to evaluate and revise as necessary to ensure new spaces meet the needs of patients, families and staff.
