There is something new on the Seattle Children’s Hospital construction site. As a way to engage Children’s patients, families and visitors, the hospital, in partnership with Sellen Construction, is launching a Where’s Waldo™ game in the month of March.

You may have spotted a Where’s Waldo figure in his signature red and white striped shirt and cap on the grounds. We hope to provide a fun, interactive way to follow the progress as we build a new hospital of the future, with initial focus on building space to care for cancer and critical-care patients.

Follow Waldo as he visits the construction site and you could win a prize!  Here are a few details about how you can play the game. When on the hospital campus, you can see Waldo from the following places:

  • Seattle Children’s Giraffe Lobby Waiting Area
  • Starbucks Café – Giraffe Level
  • Family Area – Giraffe level 2, room G2015
  • Family Area – Giraffe level 4, room G4015
  • And often, you can see him on our construction blog web cam

Find Waldo and then visit Children’s Child Life playroom on the hospital Train 2 level (2240) or the Giraffe greeter desk and collect your prize Monday through Friday between  9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. This game is primarily geared for children and giveaways may be limited.

If you haven’t seen Waldo in a while, here’s a picture of him to refresh your memory. Good luck and enjoy the game!
