On Saturday, Sept. 10 beginning at 9 a.m., a very limited crew from Sellen will conduct some work on the construction site. They will be setting the Seattle City Light vaults in place; these are big concrete boxes in the ground that hold equipment to transform the incoming electrical power into voltage that is used in the building. There shouldn’t be any noise or vibration associated with this work, and they will be done no later than 5:30 p.m. that same day.
We must do this work on a Saturday because it requires use of the tower crane, which is being used during regular workdays to erect the building’s steel structure.
