We moved the date of a 6 a.m. concrete pour to Wednesday, Aug. 27, because there weren’t enough concrete finishers available on the original date.

The concrete will form the pad for a new bike share station we’re building near the Sand Point Way NE bus stop in front of Seattle Children’s.

Normal work hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through the end of the month, but we need to start at 6 a.m. on Aug. 27 because concrete deliveries begin early.  The pour is expected to last two hours and will be staged from Phil Smart  Sr. Way within the hospital campus. The contractor will post flaggers.

The bike share station is part of a citywide bike share program that will make available up to 25 bicycles for staff, visitors and neighbors to rent. Thanks for your  patience as we complete this exciting neighborhood improvement.
