A crew of about 20 people will be working on the exterior of our Building Hope expansion this Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The weekend shift is necessary in order to attach the glass fins to the building’s cladding before the Fraco lifts are completely dismantled.
Completing work on the glass fins will allow contractors to finish removing the various lifts and the tower crane so they can start preparing the ground below for parking lots and other surface features.
Dismantling the tower crane requires a mobile crane that is only available at certain times. Finishing the exterior work on time will avoid any need to reschedule the mobile crane and ensure we can begin surface work as planned.
