Weekend Construction Update: Feb. 12 and Feb. 13

On Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 13, you may hear a bit of noise coming from the center of Seattle Children’s main campus. Intermittent concrete chipping will occur in this area between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. both days. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the construction pager at 206-469-5860. We appreciate your patience as we continue to improve our facilities for our patients.

SDOT Road Work on Sand Point Way NE Begins Monday, Feb. 8

Beginning Monday, Feb. 8, Sand Point Way NE will close to through traffic between NE 70th St. and NE 95th St. while Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) repairs a failing retaining wall in the 8500 block. Please note that this project is a SDOT project, and while it is not associated with Seattle Children’s Hospital, it will impact commute times and traffic near the hospital. The Burke Gilman Trail will not be affected by this work.  Reroute information and updates for bus route 75 can be found here. Vehicle detour information and other details about this project from SDOT can be found here. The closure is expected to last three to four weeks. If you have any questions about this project, please contact Art Brochet, SDOT Project Communications Lead, at [email protected].
