A landscaping crew is scheduled to perform tree work at Sand Point Learning Center on Saturday, Sept. 19, Monday, Sept. 21, and Wednesday, Sept. 23. The work includes removing trees that are dying or hazardous and pruning healthy trees to remove dead or low branches.
Chainsaws and chippers will generate noise. Some parking spots on the south side of the property will be coned off, but no impacts are expected to the north parking lot. The one-way road along the west side of the building will be closed on Sept. 23. Work will occur between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day.
