On Thursday, Sept. 2, Bartlett Tree Experts will remove dead and hazardous trees on Seattle Children’s property at NE 70th Street and Sand Point Way NE. Most of the trees are located within the property’s interior, but a few are located near the perimeter in the following locations:

  • The south side of NE 70th Street between the Burke-Gilman Trail and Seattle Children’s 70th Street driveway
  • The southwest corner of the NE 70th Street and Sand Point Way NE intersection (the northeast corner of the property)
  • The west side of Sand Point Way NE north of Seattle Children’s Sand Point Way driveway

Two street parking spaces on the south side of NE 70th Street will be coned off during this work. Two-way traffic will be maintained on all streets. The crew will use chainsaws and chippers, which will generate noise. This tree work is scheduled to take place between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
