From Sept. 21 to Oct. 7, contractors will add traffic coating to certain sections of parking lots 2 and 4 (workforce parking) on the northern portion of Seattle Children’s hospital campus, between Penny Drive and NE 50th Street. The traffic coating will help prevent water intrusion within the parking lots.

This project includes pressure washing, grinding of existing concrete, and application of the traffic coating. The pressure washing and grinding will generate moderate levels of noise from Sept. 24 to Sept. 28. Application of the traffic coating will generate some odors from Sept. 29 to Oct. 7, though the odors are expected to be minimal.

Work will occur between the hours of 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on weekdays (noise-generating work will begin at 8 a.m.), and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
