Landscaping on Sand Point Way, Sept. 28

On Tuesday, Sept. 28, a landscaping crew will plant vegetation in the planter strip on the east side of Sand Point Way NE between 40th Avenue NE and the hospital’s main entrance at Penny Drive. The right vehicular travel lane of northbound Sand Point Way will be closed while the planting is underway; the bike lane, however, will remain open. We expect this work will take one day to complete. The vegetation planting was previously scheduled but was delayed.

A separate project to fill a gap in the sidewalk may occur at the same time just north of the planting work. If the sidewalk project proceeds, the sidewalk will be closed that day as well.
