From Monday, Aug. 16, to Friday, Aug. 20, construction crews will start up and calibrate the boilers in Building Care at the hospital campus. At times throughout the week, this will generate a “pinging” noise that may be audible to neighbors, and steam will be released from the northwest corner of the building. These periods of noise and steam discharge may last up to four hours at a time between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Starting Thursday, Aug. 12, the right lane of 40th Avenue NE northbound will be closed between NE 45th Street and Sand Point Way NE while construction crews restore the sidewalk.
