As part of a Facilities Conditions Assessment (FCA) project, drones will be capturing photographs of the hospital campus the week of Dec. 13.  The purpose of the FCA project is to complete a thorough mechanical, electrical and architectural assessment of hospital campus.

Drones, along with some digital cameras, will be capturing photographs and thermal imaging of all the hospital campus buildings. The thermal imaging must be done during the wintertime to best capture the heat loss of the buildings; however, this work is weather dependent and may have to be rescheduled in the case of heavy rain.

Images will capture the roofs and all the exterior walls of the buildings. The drones will be traveling up and down the outside walls and outside windows. Neighbors may briefly see the drones above the hospital or adjacent to buildings at times during this work. We don’t expect any noise issues. The drone work will be coordinated with the helicopter landings.
